DevMemphis is a general purpose user group for software developers in Memphis TN. George started DevMemphis in 2018 with several other user group leaders with the goal of accommodating a more diverse range of topics and formats.

The Memphis Technology Foundation, or Memtech, facilitates local technical user groups and events. Since it was Founded, George has been actively involved in the Memtech community as a user group attendee, speaker, volunteer, organizer, and evangelist.

Tech Camp Memphis is a multi-track conference for technical professionals in Memphis, TN. George participated in TechCamp, first as an attendee in 2014, and as a speaker and volunteer in years after.
