This was the second kit I built.
It’s difficult to avoid nub marks and fingerprints on a shiny kit like this. I tried brushing on some gold paint but that didn’t go well so I chose to accept it. In the end it’s so gloriously shiny that no one’s going to notice anyway
I learned an important lesson about topcoat because I sprayed some of the matte parts down when it was humid outside and they came out cloudy. Now I always check the weather before I spray.
When I photographed the finished kit, I played around with some led lights and got great results.
